I just finished reading letters from the March 23rd Times-Union. Loved your letter, Harold Yazel. Pelosi hires illegals for work in her California vineyards - guess that makes them patriots. Dodd, Franks and Sen. Obama received the most kickbacks from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, than anyone else and yes, they were a huge part of "the problem." Every time Bush called for an investigation, the liberal Congress saw that it didn't happen.
Anthony is in Never-Never-Land. Gov. Sarah Palin, Mark Sanford and Bobby Jindel, along with a few other governors, are declining some of the so-called stimulus because they want money that will create jobs. Between 8,000 to 9,000 earmarks - pork - that's no stimulus plan - it's payback for getting Obama elected and downright socialism. AIG happened on Obama's watch - guess what, can't blame Bush for this one. Obama is in this job and it's over his head. This bunch in Washington wants huge government and power. OH, boy, let's go to our Chinese friends and borrow trillions. He's burying us in debt and socialism.
We need to downsize government, not make it bigger. The stimulus is not going to create jobs, and it's time our voices are heard in Washington - and all over this nation, we are mad as h*** and it's time we let this bunch in D.C. know it. Send your tea bag to every Senator and Congressman and let them know it.
People, read "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine and see how far we have already come into socialism. It's time we take Paine's truths and apply them to today - they are timeless.
Everything we wrote about prior to the election is coming true. You thought conservatives spent money as fast as a freight train, Obama is spending money like a launched rocket ship.

Anthony, Sarah Palin does have it all under control. She is a college graduate and holds a degree, is governor of the beautiful state of Alaska, is enormously popular and doesn't care a flick what you think of her. Great, isn't it? She's not vice president because of ACORN and a candidate who lied to get elected. Hopefully he is only there for one term. He should get a job as a rock star on Jay Leno because he is proving every day that he is not president material, never has been, never will be. He is trying to turn this nation into a cowardly, socialist, welfare, baby-killing country dependent on large government, unarmed and Godless. Yep, that sums it up. In the meantime, the pork goes on.
