I attended an awesome event tonight, Friday, where lots of food will now be given to CCS to be given to the less fortunate, because people with a vision in our community came together to help. I was glad to be a part of this event.
My church, God's Highway To Heaven, also runs a food pantry, and those who have are so blessed as I see so many that come and don't know what they will do the next day ahead of them. My church will be hosting a free meal Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for anyone in the community who would like a nice meal. We are taking donations for anyone interested in helping. The meal will consist of ham, yams, corn, rolls, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, all kinds of desserts and drinks.
If you would like to be a blessing in this meal for those who may come, you may contact me to donate any of these items to help us reach out to a lot of hurting people. Luke 6:38, "Give and it shall be given unto you."
