The Winona Literary Club has been an ongoing women's club since 1903. It is a unique club and one of the few left in the nation. The Winona Literary Club meets biweekly, six times in the fall and six times in the spring. They are not a "book club" but instead offer opportunities to enjoy engaging book reviews, listen to performances from talented musicians and hear talks from local business owners and special speakers like government or education personnel. A short club business meeting is conducted afterward with a time of fellowship and home-baked or store-bought refreshments.
