MENTONE - Cleo Fern Kelly, 90, of 51933 Grape Road, Granger, died at 7:10 a.m. Feb. 6, 2011, in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend.
She was born Dec. 1, 1920, in Fulton County, to Alonzo Augustus and Hazel Leona Clymer Walters. On Sept. 11, 1938, in Rochester, she married Clifford Emerson "Peck" Kelly, who died April 12, 2001.
She was a photographer and lived in Florida and Michigan prior to returning to Indiana. She worked in the polls in many political elections.
Surviving are three sons: Bill (and spouse Rocksan) Kelly, Eaton Rapids, Mich.; Patrick Michael (and spouse Denise) Kelly, Granger; and Charles Leroy (and spouse Rusty) Kelly, Ohio; a daughter, Barbara Kathleen "Kitty" (and spouse John) Penny, Rolling Prairie; 21 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters and two brothers.
A private graveside service will be at Mentone Cemetery.
