GOSHEN – Clayton Tackett, 49, of Goshen, and formerly of Warsaw, died at 1:21 a.m. April 28, 2012, in I.U.  Health Goshen Hospital.

He was born Jan. 20, 1963, in Floyd, Ky., to Andrew and Gettie Marie Tackett. On Oct. 19, 1985, in Warsaw, he married Melissa Conley, who survives.

He was a production worker and welder at Lippert Components, Goshen.

Also surviving are a daughter, Angie Marie Tackett;  two sons, James (and spouse Amber) Tackett and Aaron Justin Tackett (and fiance Josie Cupp), all of Goshen;  two brothers, Clifford (and spouse Terrie) Tackett and Rudolph Tackett, all of Kentucky; two sisters, Jewell (and spouse Albert Ray) Mullins, Fort Wayne, and Katherine J. (and spouse Jimmy) Johnson, Kentucky; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother.

Services will be at noon Friday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, with Elder Arthur Haas officiating. Burial will follow.
