Claude Frazier Jr., 80, of 2409 E. Main St., Warsaw, died at 5:15 a.m. June 13, 2009, at Marion General Hospital.
He was born June 14, 1928, in Garrett, Ky., to Claude Sr. and Josephine Wallen Frazier. On Sept. 19, 1961, he married Mary Ann Gibson, who preceded him in death.
In 1966, he started with Uniroyal Inc., Warsaw, and was employed there until his retirement in 1992. He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 45 years. He served as a corpsman in Korea from 1951-1956 in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are a son, Elbert Frazier, Warsaw; a daughter, Nancy Frazier, Warsaw; a granddaughter; and three brothers: Bill, Harold and Jim Frazier. He was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Darryl Ramey officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with graveside rites conducted by American Legion Post 49 and VFW 1126, both of Warsaw.
