Clarence H. “Bimbo” Atkins Jr., 52, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Dec. 17, 2014, at his residence. He was born May 31, 1962, in Bremen, to Clarence H. Sr. and Erma Peters Atkins. He was a resident of Kosciusko County all his life. He was a 1980 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He was a supervisor at R-Vision, and he served on the Young Tiger Football board. He started sprint car racing at the age of 16, and was an avid Colts fan. Surviving are a son, Austin Atkins, Warsaw; a daughter, Alyssa Atkins, Warsaw; two stepsons, Jacob Bradford and Zach Bradford, both of Warsaw; a granddaughter, Jayden Atkins, Warsaw; his mother, Warsaw; four sisters: Sandy Atkins, Warsaw; Sheila (and spouse Greg) Anderson and Renee Atkins, all of Bourbon, and Sheri (and spouse Matt) Rapp, Claypool; and one brother, Kevin (and spouse Krista) Atkins, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his father, who died Jan. 16, 2013. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Rob Ruberg, Riverview Community Church, Tippecanoe, officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
