Cindy Pamela Cripe, 62, of Carmel, passed away peacefully at 2:45 a.m. May 24, 2010, in her residence, after a courageous nearly two-year battle with cancer.
She was born in Rochester, one of four children of Paul and Ruby Conkle. She was the beloved wife of Phil Cripe for 28 years.
Raised in Warsaw, she graduated from Warsaw Community High School and received a bachelor's degree from Indiana University. She held many management positions in both the medical device and telecommunications industries.
She will forever be remembered by her devoted sisters, Lynn Ann Keane and Paula Lamphier; beloved children: Tamara Drake, Tyson Johnston, Shelly Magnus and Scott Cripe; treasured grandchildren: Andrew and Evan Drake; Natalie, Elise and Audrey Magnus; and Caleb and Caitlin Cripe; caring mother-in-law, Gladys Cripe; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.
She touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark of compassion toward others all the way to the end.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Burial will be private.
