Church To Hold Lakeside Worship Service
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Egg Town Coffee (formerly Java Jacks) in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
On Sunday, worship at Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, is at 8 a.m. at the Beaver Dam Lake boat launch (if raining a cancellation call will be made by 7:30 a.m.) or at 9:30 a.m. at church with coffee and refreshments served from 9 to 9:30 a.m. It is June birthday recognition.

Miller To Present Message
MENTONE – The community is invited to Mentone United Methodist Church on Sunday for worship at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Dana Miller will present the message “Grace for the Divided Heart.” The scripture reading is James 4:1-6.
This year the Mentone United Methodist Church is hosting a one-day vacation Bible school July 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a unique VBS in that it has been crafted locally with the needs of students in mind. The theme is Kindness is Cool. The morning will identify some big bad bullies in the Bible. The afternoon will be spent identifying characters of the Bible who are kind to others. Bible stories, skits, role playing, science, crafts, games and lunch will be a part of the day. Students finishing fifth and sixth grades will also participate in an escape room. Students finishing pre-kindergarten through those finishing sixth grade are invited. Registration can be done by using the link vbspro.events/p/mumcvbskindnessiscool2026. If registration is completed and received by Wednesday, participants will get a free T-shirt. Claypool UMC To Hold Events
CLAYPOOL – On Saturday, several at Claypool United Methodist Church are meeting for CPR training at 9 a.m.
On Sunday at 10:30 a.m., they gather for outside worship at the Airgood’s. There will be a reception for new members and baptism. This will all be livestreamed on Facebook for your convenience if you’re unable to join them.
On Wednesday, the devotional group will meet at 4:30 p.m. All are welcome to join them.
The praise team will meet at 5:30 p.m. to plan and practice for following worships
They are collecting items for July 3, 4, 17 and 18 rummage sale in the Fellowship Hall. Proceeds will be used to purchase school supplies for Claypool Elementary School students.
A free mobile mammograph screening will be conducted in the church parking lot July 8.

Eastway To Present Message
BURKET – Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is "Jesus' Leadership Secret" from 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. Pastor Mark will be doing a series on the book 'Hero Maker" by Dave Ferguson.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m. The women's Bible study will meet at 9 a.m. in the church library this week because the Egg Town Coffee shop will be closed on Saturday
Praise practice is Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Community Bible Announces Services
Community Bible Church, 2947 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, announced services for this week.
Sunday services start with Sunday school at 9 a.m. Worship services are at 10:15 a.m. Evening worship is canceled the next two Sundays.
Wednesday at 6 p.m. is a time for praise, prayer and Bible study.

God’s Highway To Heaven
To Hold Dinner Fundraiser
God’s Highway To Heaven, 555 Webber St., Warsaw, will have a tenderloin dinner fundraiser for remodeling and updating Sunday classrooms.
Tenderloin, fries and coleslaw is $10. Two hotdogs, fries and coleslaw is $10. The kid’s meal of one hot dog and fries is $5. People can add chili sauce for $1. Coffee with free refills, pop or water is $1.
There will be a bake sale.
