Burket Bible To Hold Services
BURKET – Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is "Our Heavenly Father" from Romans 8:12-17. They will celebrate all the fathers during the worship service.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m. The women's Bible study meets the second and fourth Saturdays at 9 a.m. at Egg Town Coffee.
Praise practice is Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Claypool UMC To Celebrate Fathers
CLAYPOOL – June 21 isn’t just a regular Sunday at Claypool United Methodist. They plan to celebrate all fathers with Pastor Diana Quance explaining Proverbs 4:20-22. The children will have kids chat with Quance before they exit to youth church. If you are unable to join them for worship, watch on Facebook at Claypool UMC, Indiana.
The devotional group plans to gather Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.; they welcome newcomers. The praise team will practice and plan for June 28 at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. A CPR certification class will be held June 27 at 9 a.m. until noon.

Beaver Dam Community Church
To Hold Lakeside Service
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Egg Town Coffee (formerly Java Jacks) in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
On Sunday, worship at Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, at 8 a.m. at Beaver Dam Lake boat launch (if raining a cancellation call will be made by 7:30 a.m.) or at 9:30 a.m. at church with coffee and refreshments served from 9 to 9:30 a.m. There will be Father's Day and vacation Bible school celebrations.
On June 25, the Wheels on Fire meeting is at 6:30 p.m.

Miller To Present Message
MENTONE – The community is invited to Mentone United Methodist Church on Sunday for worship at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Dana Miller will present the message “Seeds of Peace.” The scripture reading is James 3:1-18. The will celebrate the fathers and men of the church.
This year Mentone United Methodist Church is hosting a one-day vacation Bible school on July 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a unique VBS in that it has been crafted locally with the needs of students in mind. The theme is Kindness is Cool. The morning will identify some big bad bullies in the Bible. The afternoon will be spent identifying characters of the Bible who are kind to others. Bible stories, skits, role playing, science, crafts, games and lunch will be a part of the day. Students finishing fifth and sixth grades will also participate in an Escape Room. Students finishing pre-kindergarten through those finishing sixth grade are invited. Registration can be done by going to vbspro.events/p/mumcvbskindnessiscool2026. If registration is completed and received by July 1, participants will get a free T-shirt.
