Miller To Present Message
MENTONE – The community is invited to the Mentone United Methodist Church on Sunday for worship at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Dana Miller will present the message “What if.” The scripture reading is Haggai 1:7-12 - 2:9.
On Monday, the building and grounds committee will meet at 6 p.m.
On Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., the MUMC Friends Breakfast will be at Egg Town Coffee.
All men are welcome to the Tuesday men’s Bible study beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Feast & Fellowship is on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A casual light meal is provided along with fellowship, music, study and fun. Feast & Fellowship follows the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation calendar.
All are welcome at Mentone United Methodist Church. They offer an early bird adult Sunday school class at 9 a.m. before worship service at 10:15 a.m. They are at 116 E. Main St., Mentone. To Hold Events This Week
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Egg Town Coffee (formerly Java Jacks) in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
On Sunday, worship at Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron, at 9 a.m. or 10:31 a.m. with coffee refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m.
On Monday, the trustees meeting is at 6 p.m. The 4-H Club is at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, the finance committee meeting is at 6 p.m.

Burket Bible To Hold Services
BURKET – Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is "All You Need is Love" from Mark 12:28-34.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and study starts at 9 a.m. The women's Bible study meets the second and fourth Saturdays at 9 a.m. at Egg Town Coffee.
Burket Lifewise classes are Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Praise practice is Tuesday at 4 p.m. There will be a bake sale at the church on Saturday, at the same time of the Burket Fire Department fish fry.

God’s Highway To Hold Breakfast
God’s Highway To Heaven Church, 555 Webber St., Warsaw, will have an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The menu is biscuits and gravy, bologna, sausage, bacon, sausage patties, taters, eggs, apples, coffee, orange juice and white and chocolate milk.
Cost for those 10 years and older is $10. Cost for those aged 3 to 9 is $4 and those 2 and under are free.

SPARC To Meet Today
CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist can be found on 105 Church St. They open their doors to the SPARC group of children on Thursdays at 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. They will have snacks, study about Jesus and sing praises.
On Friday, the Weekend Back Packs will be delivered to Claypool Elementary.
The Claypool fireman have a pancake and sausage fundraiser on Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m.
The Lay Servant Academy will be May 2 and 9, starting at 8:30 a.m. at Claypool UMC.
Everyone is invited to join Claypool UMC for Bible studies every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and worship starting at 10:30 a.m. On Sunday, Pastor Diane Quance will continue her series “Lord I Believe.” If you can’t join them for either service, watch on Facebook at Claypool UMC, Indiana. The children have kids chat with the pastor then they have junior church on Sundays. This being the first Sunday of May we will be enjoying communion with the church family, including the children.
On Tuesday at 10 a.m., the Women of Faith will gather at the church to fellowship, support their mission projects and learn about the latest 4-H programs in Kosciusko.
The devotional group meets on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. They welcome anyone to join them. The praise team continues to practice at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The National Day of Prayer group is coming to the Rodeheaver Auditorium at noon May 7 to lead the community in prayer.

Gospel Hill To Hold Breakfast
SILVER LAKE – Gospel Hill, 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, will hold an all-can-eat-breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The menu is biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, fried apples and fried potatoes.
Cost for those 10 and over is $12. Cost of those aged 3 to 9 is $6 and those 2 and under are free.

Community Bible To Hold Services
Community Bible Church, 2947 S. Country Farm Road, Warsaw, announced their services.
Sunday school is at 9 a.m. and worship services at 10:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pastor Joe Lloyd leads all three services. Lloyd continues his study in the Book of Mark.
Are you feeling down by midweek? Come to their prayer, praise and study time at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Dave Mitchell will lead the study time.

N. Manchester UMC To Hold Dinner
NORTH MANCHESTER – North Manchester United Methodist Church, 306 E. 2nd St., North Manchester, will hold a baked steak dinner Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner will be a dine-in and a drive-through. The public is invited and the cost is $10 per meal. The church is handicapped-accessible.
