Burket Bible To Hold Services
The Burket Bible Church welcomes everyone to its services. Sunday school starts at 9 a.m. and worship is at 10:15 a.m. The message this week by Pastor Mark Eastway is "This Present Darkness" from Ephesians 6:10-18.
There is a men's community Bible study each Saturday at Egg Town Coffee in Mentone. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and study starts at 9 a.m. The women's Bible study meets the second and fourth Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. at Egg Town Coffee.
Burket Lifewise classes are Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Praise practice is Tuesday at 4 p.m.
SPARC To Meet Today
CLAYPOOL – The SPARCs are springing down the sidewalk to Claypool United Methodist Church. Their gathering is from 4 to 5:30 p.m. when they have a hearty snack, learn how to walk with God, sing praise songs and play games.
Many members of Claypool UMC help the Lions conduct their fish fry on Saturday.
On Sunday, the lights are on for Bible studies at 9:30 a.m. They meet for snack and fellowship at 10:10 a.m. The sanctuary is the main gathering place for worship, praying and singing praises. Keith Priser’s sermon “What is Good?” is based on Micah 6:1-8. The children meet for junior church during the sermon. Worship hour can be viewed live on Facebook at Claypool UMC, Indiana.
The devotional group meets at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Anyone is welcome to join them. The praise team practices on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.
Beaver Dam Community Church To Hold Worship
AKRON – There's a communitywide men's Bible study group meeting on Saturday mornings at Egg Town Coffee (formerly Java Jacks) in Mentone. Men from several area churches are participating and all are welcome. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. and the study starts at 9 a.m.
Sunday is first service Communion at Beaver Dam Community Church, 9798 W. CR 1000S, Akron. Worship is at 9 a.m. or 10:31 a.m. with coffee refreshments served from 10 to 10:30 a.m.
On Thursday, the Wheels on Fire meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Gospel Hill To Hold Dinner Saturday
SILVER LAKE – Gospel Hill, 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, will have an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Cost is $10 for ages 10 and up. Cost for ages 4 to 9 is $5 and those 3 and under are free.
There will also be a bake sale.
Community Bible To
Hold Services
Community Bible Church, 2947 S. Country Farm Road, Warsaw, announced their services.
Sunday school is at 9 a.m. and worship services at 10:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. Pastor Joe Lloyd leads all three services. Lloyd continues his study in the Book of Mark.
Are you feeling down by midweek? Come to their prayer, praise and study time at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Dave Mitchell will lead the study time.
Miller To Present Message
MENTONE – The community is invited to Mentone United Methodist Church on Sunday for worship at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Dana Miller will present the message “Misplaced Priorities.” The scripture reading is Haggai 1:1-6.
The outreach team will meet on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
All men are welcome to the Tuesday men’s Bible study beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Feast & Fellowship is on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A casual light meal is provided along with fellowship, music, study and fun. Feast & Fellowship follows the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation calendar.
