Christine Joan LeCount MorganIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christine J. Morgan, age 63, on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, following a long fight with breast and brain cancer.
The oldest child of Max (stepfather) and Shirley Reavis, she was born and raised in Warsaw, where she graduated high school. After graduation she was employed by Blue Bell, sewing denim jeans. Later, she was hired by Zimmer working in the sewing department making orthopedic soft goods. Her talents were quickly recognized at Zimmer and she moved up to receptionist and then executive assistant to the vice president of research and development.
Christine met her husband, Jeffrey A. Morgan, at Zimmer where they both worked. The relationship blossomed and soon they embarked on an adventure of a lifetime moving to Arizona in 1987. They eloped to Lake Tahoe and were married in 1988. Settling in Scottsdale and later Paradise Valley, they started a family in 1993 with the birth of their only son, Justin A. Morgan.
Chris was active volunteering for school functions and fundraisers. She enjoyed family, friends and travel. Spending time with her family at the summer lake home on Tippecanoe Lake was especially important. Not surprisingly, her favorite hobby was scrapbooking where she kept all of those special memories organized and cherished.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Chris was a survivor with a depth of character and strength to be greatly admired. She enjoyed life and accepted her burdens without complaint. She had love enough for everyone!
She is survived by her husband and son; sisters: Melanie Knisely, Bambi Baier; brother, Max Reavis Jr.; and her nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. at Messenger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary.
