NORTH MANCHESTER - Chris Reed, 46, of North Manchester, died at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 20, 2008, in his residence.
He was born Nov. 27, 1961, in Wabash, to Hubert and Clara Briggs Reed. On Aug. 10, 1984, he married Lisa Dotson, who survives.
He worked in maintenance with SPX Contec, Pierceton, for eight years. He was previously employed at North Manchester Foundry for 20 years. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle, Claypool.
Survivors include his mother, Clara Reed, North Manchester; two sons, Travis Lee and Tyler Reed, both of North Manchester; two brothers, Greg Reed, Woodburn, and Myron (and spouse Cheryl) Reed, New Haven; two sisters, Melanie (and spouse Rick) Baber, Wabash, and Christine (and spouse Stan) Robison, Roann. He was preceded in death by his father.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Full Gospel Tabernacle, with Pastor Ralph Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
Calling is from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, and one hour prior to services at the church.
