SYRACUSE - Chloe McRobbie was hired as the head softball coach at Wawasee High School.
McRobbie recently graduated from Trinity Christian, where she was a three-year starter at shortstop.
She led Trinity Christian in batting, with a .426, hits (55), RBI (33), and runs (34) in 2018.
McRobbie earned several accolades during her collegiate career, including being named NCCAA first-team All-American and first-team All-Chicagoland Collegaite Athletic Conference this year.
Her coaching experience includes being an instructor at Trinity College softball camps, as well as at True Impact Softball in Kendallville.
“We are excited about Chloe’s softball knowledge, and feel that she is a high character young woman who will help Wawasee’s student-athletes grow as people and as softball players,” Wawasee athletic director Cory?Schutz said in a news release.
