NORTH WEBSTER - Charlotte V. Richards, 94, North Webster, died at 3:10 p.m. Jan. 1, 2011, in Mason's Health and Rehab, Warsaw.
She was born Feb. 20, 1916, in Chicago, Ill., to Charles F. and Arminta Johnson Peters. On Feb. 19, 1936, in Aurora, she married Donald G. Richards, who died in 1991.
She attended Aurora, Ill., public schools. She moved to Kosciusko County from Aurora in 1948, and to North Webster in 1952. She was a homemaker and babysitter for many years. She was a member of North Webster Church of God.
Surviving are a daughter, Karleen Richards, North Webster; two sons, Charles D. (and spouse Yasue) Richards, Fountain, Colo., and David Richards Sr., North Webster; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson and a step-great-grandson.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at North Webster Cemetery (Mock Addition).
