Charla Oviedo, 67, of Syracuse and formerly of Ligonier, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, in the care of Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born June 22, 1959, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Lois Irene Miller and Vernon D. Nissley. She married Zeferino Oviedo.
Family and friends may visit from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13 at Redpath-Fruth-Byers Funeral Home, Warsaw. Charla’s life will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14 at Redpath-Fruth-Byers Funeral Home, Warsaw. A graveside service will follow at Milford Cemetery.
