COLUMBIA CITY – Cecil Crawford Jr., 86, of Loo– Lake, died at 6:56 a.m. Sept. 4, 2012, i– Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was bor– Aug. 19, 1926, i– Whitley County, to George Cecil and Gladys Fer– Traster Crawford. O– June 12, 1948, he married Elnora M. “Elly” Gaylord, who died March 31, 2005. Surviving are two children, including Ronald (and spouse Darlene) Crawford, Pierceton; seve– grandchildren; a great-grandson; three sisters; and two brothers. He also was preceded i– death by two sons, three brothers and a sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Burial will be i– Oak Grove Cemetery with military honors by members of Whitley County Korea– War Veterans Honor Guard.
