CCAC Hosts First-Ever Grounded in Community Giving Celebration This Saturday

Posted

The CCAC will welcome families and neighbors to its first-ever Grounded in Community Giving Celebration this Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This new event marks the kickoff to the CCAC’s 2025 Giving Tuesday efforts and celebrates the people, relationships and stories that make Kosciusko County feel like home, according to a news release from the CCAC.
To participate, families are asked to bring a minimum $5 donation or a new/gently used toy, which will be provided directly to local families in need this holiday season.
The event will include a wide range of interactive, family-centered stations, such as family photo stop, kid-friendly games, CCAC fun-fact scavenger challenge, community kindness table for encouraging notes and drawings, a feedback station for ideas on future CCAC programs and events and affordable concessions throughout the event.
“This celebration reflects the heart of the CCAC,” CCAC leadership said in the release. “Our goal has always been to build a place where people feel connected — where memories are made, friendships form and families grow stronger together. This event is one more way to honor the community that continues to support us.”
The celebration will also give attendees a look at upcoming initiatives as CCAC works to expand youth and adult programming, strengthen community partnerships and continue improving the overall experience for families across the county.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), the CCAC participates in Giving Tuesday to raise essential support for facility improvements, program development and community-focused initiatives that help the organization remain a central gathering place for Kosciusko County.
