Cathleen “Cathie” Kay Newcomb Lukens, 72, of rural Rochester, died Feb. 27, 2026.
She was born Oct. 15, 1953, in Rochester, to Edwin and Janice Durkes Newcomb. On Dec. 3, 1972, she married Lincoln D. Lukens, who survives.
The funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor Thomas Craig officiating. A private interment will take place in the Nichols Cemetery, Akron.
Visitation hours will be 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Fulton County Riley Children’s Hospital Assistance Fund at the Fulton County Community Foundation.
