TROY, Ohio - Cary G. Smith Sr., 53, of Troy, Ohio, and former resident of Rochester, died at 7:22 a.m. Jan. 21, 2009, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.
He was born June. 22, 1955, in Muncie, to Arthur William Jr. and Lois Stanley Smith.
Survivors include a son, Cary G. (and spouse Monica) Smith Jr., Warsaw; a daughter, Shawna (and spouse John) Scripter, Peru; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a twin brother, Arthur William Smith, Troy; and two sisters, Grace (and spouse Ray) Jones, Troy, and Barbara Slater, Peru.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Troy, Ohio with Pastor Ric Barnes officiating. Following the service, there will be a meal served and everyone is welcome to attend.
Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio is in charge of the arrangements.
