2019.

She was born on Feb. 11, 1935, the

daughter of Willard and Esther Gerber

Martin, in Kokomo, Ind. On June 22,

1956, she married Robert Eugene Auer;

he survives.

Other survivors include four children: Roxana (Michael)

Klauka, of Holt, Mich.; Robin (Aaron) Rovenstine, of Warsaw,

Ind.; Jay (Dawn) Auer, of Warsaw; and Jerry (Denise) Auer, of

Warsaw; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Auer in 2012; two brothers, Max Martin and Fred Martin;

along with two grandchildren.

Carolyn graduated from Bremen High School in 1953 and

was a devoted and awesome stay-at-home mom for many

years. She later worked at Kosciusko Community Hospital in

Warsaw and Orn Nursing Home in Milford. Carolyn attended

the Goshen Christian Church for many years with her husband

and always put others before herself, no matter how

sick or busy she was. Her devotion to her husband of 63

years is unsurpassed. Carolyn was also a very talented seamstress

and made special blankets for all of her children,

grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always used her

talents to make you feel special. Whether it was baking your

favorite dish on your birthday or simply listening, she will

always be remembered for the way she loved you unconditionally.

Carolyn will be deeply missed, but it is heaven’s

great gain.

A graveside service will be held in Carolyn’s honor at 2
