SYRACUSE - Carolyn Bair of Grace Village, Winona Lake, and formerly of Cromwell and Albion, died June 20, 2010.
She was born to Frank and Willamina Light Jerles. Etha Watson Jerles later became her stepmother. She married Cecil "Zeke" Bair, who preceded her in death.
She did housecleaning, catering and operated the Wolf Lake Dairy Treat. She was on the board of Lakeland Child Evangelism Ministries, Warsaw, and a member of Ormas Baptist Church. She volunteered for the Red Cross for 51 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (and spouse Larry) Wilkinson, Kimmel; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter and an infant son.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery, Kimmel.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
