COLUMBIA CITY – Carolyn Ann Stidham, 65, Columbia City, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 3:55 a.m. Dec. 17, 2014. She was born Jan. 12, 1949, in Warsaw, to Roy Elmer and Ruth Joan Brower Combs. On May 7, 1971, she married David B. Stidham, who survives. They have always made their home in Richland Township, Whitley County. She graduated from South Whitley High School and Patricia Stevens Air Career College in Chicago. After 34 years of service, she retired from Zimmer this year. She was a member of First Church of God. Also surviving are three children: Brian S. (and spouse Jamie) Stidham, Pierceton; Brandi J. (and spouse Bradley) Treesh, Fort Wayne; and Brad E. (and spouse Jean) Stidham, Columbia City; 13 grandchildren; and a sister, Debra (and spouse Donald) Humerickhouse, Palmetto, Fla. Her parents preceded her in death. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Burial is in South Whitley Cemetery.
