Carole Diane Pike, 75, a lifelong resident of the Arlington/Rush County area, passed away Jan. 3, 2017, in Rushville. She was born Feb. 18, 1941, in Rush County, to Earl David and Mary Ellen Jones Stout. She was a 1959 graduate of Arlington High School and attended a business college in Indianapolis. She married David Ross Pike on July 11, 1963, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1998. She worked in Indianapolis for Travelers Insurance and also worked at Swain Real Estate. She was a member of Arlington Christian Church in her early years and later attended St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed crafting stained glass art. She is survived by her sons, Bradley Ross (spouse Sharon) Pike, Rushville, and Jeff Pike, Florida; a sister, Susan Stout, Spring Hill, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great–grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, with the Rev. Jeremy Greis offering a prayer and blessing. Private burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.
