Carol Jean Emerick, 83, Warsaw, died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne.
She was born Dec. 24, 1939, in Powellton, W.Va., to Edith Allyn Hartwell Whitmyer. On June 14, 1985, Carol married William John Emerick Jr.; he died May 20, 1996.
Carol’s life will be celebrated with a private graveside service Thursday, Nov. 9 at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
