Carmen L. Kluth, 92, of Warsaw, died at 12:45 p.m. June 9, 2009, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was born April 13, 1919, in Antigo, Wis., to Charlie and Beulah V. Bowen Schisel. On Dec. 31, 1937, in Antigo, she married Edward H. Kluth, who died July 9, 1993.

Moving to Warsaw from Tucson, Ariz., she was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Bible Church, Warsaw, and Women's Missionary Council. She taught Sunday school junior church and worked with the youth of the church at Grace Brethren Church, Tucson. She also taught Bible school in her residence.

Surviving are two daughters, Darlleen (and spouse Joe) Shepherd, Warsaw, and Colleen (and spouse Robert) Logsdon, Dixon, Ill.; a son, William (and spouse Roberta) Kluth, Tucson; seven grandchildren: Pam (and spouse Steve) Hauck, Anoka, Minn.; Dawn (and spouse Tony) Gausto, Rockford, Ill.; Chad (and spouse Stephanie) Buck, Honolulu, Hawaii; Troy (and spouse Michelle) Kluth, Oro Valley, Ariz.; Tammy (and spouse Andrew) Cohen, Tucson; Aaron (and spouse Beth) Shepherd, Warsaw; and Joel (and spouse Karla) Shepherd, Mentone; 17 great-grandchildren: Drew, Alyssa, Rachel, Jensen, Tiana, Kevena, Koah, Ethan, Aiden, Samantha, Andrew, Riley, Hudson, Kylie, Kelsey, Dylan and Devan; and a great-great-granddaughter, Riley. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce "Joy" Christensen, who died Oct. 22, 2004; and two brothers, Albert Schisel, who died Aug. 30, 1992, and Charles Richard Schisel, who died in 1918.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiating by Vic Virgil of Pleasant View Bible Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
