HOUMA, La. - Carla Taylor Bailey, 55, formerly of Leesburg, died Feb. 28, 2009.
She attended Nicholls State University and Louisiana State University. She graduated from South Louisiana Vo-Tech Institute in 1975 in nursing.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Joseph Bailey; parents, Allen Taylor, Houma, La., and Isbael "Liz" Resendez Pattison, Bourg, La.; a son, Ian Joseph Bailey; a daughter, Hannah Taylor Bailey; a sister, Lillianne (and spouse Roy) Douglas, Houma; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
A memorial service was held at St. Ann Catholic Church, Bourg.
Samart Funeral Home, Hourma. was in charge of arrangements.
