MILFORD – Carl C. Chupp, 90, Milford, passed away at 2:05 p.m. May 7, 2015, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. He was born July 10, 1924, in Oceana County, Mich., to Edward and Bernice Artlip Chupp. On Aug. 28, 1943, he married Margie E. Nichols, who passed away July 26, 2013. He proudly served as a U.S. Air Force cadet and was discharged in 1943. He has been a Milford resident since 1948, moving from Arkansas, and is a member of the Clunette United Methodist Church. He worked for Purina Mills and retired after 22 years. He also farmed for the Estep family. He is survived by daughter, Bernice (and spouse Don) Smith, Warsaw; two grandchildren, Richard (and spouse Carrie) Miller, Noblesville, and Tina (and spouse Matt) Donovan, Akron. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Mishler Funeral Home, 41 W. CR 900N, Milford. Burial is in Leesburg Cemetery.
