PIERCETON - Carl Burnworth, 90, of 7232 E. Heritage Drive, Pierceton, died at 5 p.m. Nov. 12, 2007, in his residence.
He was born Sept. 13, 1917, in Pierceton, to Everett and Bulah Burnworth. On April 5, 1941, he married Betty L. Tuttle, who died Aug. 7, 2006.
A lifetime Pierceton resident, he was a retired farmer and a member of Pierceton United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda (and spouse Bill) Gosnell, Fort Wayne, and Kathryn (and spouse Ronald) Pressnall, Anderson; four grandchildren: Michelle Renfrow and Wendy (and spouse Randy) Wilson, both of Fort Wayne; Brian (and spouse Tina) Pressnall, Warsaw; and Rhonda (and spouse Mike) Cox, Anderson; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, with Pastor Duane Kline officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
