NORTH WEBSTER – Candace L. "Candy" Cooper, 72, of Leesburg, passed away at 9:55 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, 2020, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1947, in Warsaw, to Gerald D. and Marjorie L. Tenney LaRue.
She was a lifetime North Webster/Leesburg area resident and graduated in 1966 from North Webster High School. She was married on Oct. 23, 1969, in Mobile, Ala., to Kerry L. Cooper, who survives. She was formerly employed at RR Donnelly in Warsaw for many years and was a realtor in Warsaw and a member of the Country Bible Church in North Webster.
She is survived by husband, Kerry Cooper, of Leesburg; son, Sheldon Cooper, of Warsaw; grandson, Ian Cooper; two sisters: Gaynol Von Blon, of Milford; and Sherry Hughes, of Syracuse.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family burial will take place in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery. A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Country Bible Church, 4782 N 850E, North Webster, with Pastor Myron Drent officiating.
Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of all arrangements.
