NORTH MANCHESTER – Byron C. Brunn, 75, of North Manchester, died at 9:50 p.m. Aug. 31, 2011, in his residence.

He was born Nov. 6, 1935, in Wabash,  to Glen and Lucille Vickery Brunn. On Dec. 4, 1953, he married Georgia Lee Brown, who died Jan. 19, 2003.

He owned Brunn’s Decorating Service, North Manchester, from 1974 until his retirement in 2002. He was a U.S. Army and National Guard veteran. He was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester. He was a former member of American Legion Post 286 and  Moose Lodge, North Manchester.

Surviving are a son, Byron G. “Buddy” (and spouse Tena) Brunn, North Manchester; two daughters, Kim (and spouse John) Fitzgerald and Kristie Haynes, all of North Manchester; a brother, John (and spouse Marilyn) Brunn, Wabash; two sisters, Vicki (and spouse Arlyn) Woodcox, Butler, and Glenda Cox, Wabash; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. 

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be private at Friends Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
