COLUMBIA CITY – Brinda F. Rowe, 64, Columbia City, passed away at 9:36 p.m. Sept. 17, 2014 in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
She was born March 14, 1950, in Sayersville, Ky., to Nollin and Helen Rowe Collins. On July 24, 1970, in Sherwood, Mich., she married James E. “Jim” Rowe, who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Union City High School, Marshall, Mich., with the Class of 1968. She worked at Essex and Autoliv. She was a member of Victory Rock Church, Warsaw. She was a devoted faithful member of her church, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her six children: Holly (and spouse Gregg) Porter, Jamee (and spouse Rodney) Borton and John Rowe, all of Columbia City; James (and spouse Holly Ann) Rowe Jr., Andrews; Krystlinn (and spouse David) Dean, Republic, Mo.; Nicole (and spouse Doug) Whiting, Peoria, Ariz; 11 grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters. She was also preceded in death by her birth father and parents Dudley Sr. and Helen Rowe.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Victory Rock Church, 6134 S. CR 500E, Warsaw, with Pastor Charles Trout officiating. Burial is in South Park Annex Cemetery, Columbia City.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church.
