NAPPANEE - Brian L. Wenger, 61, of 317 Arcadia Court, Fort Wayne, and formerly of Nappanee, died in his sleep at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 2, 2007, in his residence.
He was born Dec. 22, 1945, in Elkhart, to Robert and Dorothy Schalliol Wenger, who survive in Wakarusa. On Sept. 17, 1967, in Nappanee, he married Mardelle Hochstetler, who survives.
Living most of his life in the Wakarusa-Nappanee area, he moved to Fort Wayne in June 2006. He was a 1963 Wakarusa High School graduate and retired from Holiday Rambler Corp., Wakarusa. He attended Bible Baptist Church.
Also surviving are a son, Robin Wenger, Syracuse; a daughter, Mrs. Jorge (Randi) Gonzalez, Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; a brother, Bruce Wenger, Wakarusa; and three sisters: Mrs. Randy (Becky) Yeiter, Indianapolis; Mrs. Tom (Nancy) Van Tilburg, Jeffersonville; and Mrs. Steve (Barbara) Stump, Wakarusa.
Services were at 11 a.m. today at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with the Rev. Brooks Henry officiating. Burial was in South Union Cemetery.
