SYRACUSE – Brenda Lyons, 57, Syracuse, passed away Aug. 4, 2016, at her home. She was born Sept. 5, 1958, in Harvey, Ill., to James and Shirley White Bragg. On May 15, 1977, she married Edward Lyons, who survives in Syracuse. She was a longtime area resident, coming from the Chicago area as well as several years in Alabama. Also surviving are a son, Daniel Lyons, Cromwell; two daughters, Kristina Lyons and Kimberly Haradon, both of Syracuse; a daughter-in-law, Robyn Plank, Cromwell; 26 grandchildren; two brothers, James and Roger Bragg; and three sisters: Patti Duncan, Vicki Wilkin and Linda Bragg. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Nickolas Wiggs.
