BOURBON – Breanna Sue Lemler, 21, Bourbon, passed away July 10, 2016, in Alabama, as a result of a single-vehicle accident. She was born Dec. 19, 1994, in Plymouth, to Timothy and Melinda Rodgers Lemler. She has been a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Triton High School in 2013 and was a senior at Purdue University and also as a member of the Zeta Alpha Tau fraternity. She was currently working an internship in Alabama for Bunge North America. In her very short life she was a very energetic person. She was involved in many things, which included: her and her family’s involvement in the Marshall County 4-H programs particularly swine, poultry, glass etching and Christmas tree ornaments. She was also very sports-oriented throughout her school years playing basketball, volleyball and track, of which some of her records still stand. She was a good artist and was also both fall and winter Homecoming Queen, 2013 Triton, Junior Miss winner and was the 2014 Miss Blueberry. She was currently running and training for her first mini marathon event. She also was privileged to travel overseas to France last year for an internship in a winery. Surviving are her parents, Bourbon; a sister, Bethany, Bourbon; a brother, Blake, Bourbon; paternal grandparents, Irvin and Carol Lemler, Bourbon; maternal grandmother, Susan Rodgers; an uncle, Ken Rodgers, Plymouth; several aunts and uncles: Tana Houin, Cheryl and John Caine, Tom (and spouse Mary Jane) Lemler, Todd (and spouse Gayle) Lemler, Tiffany (and spouse Kirt) Reichard and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mel Rodgers, and an uncle, Dan Houin. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Plymouth Wesleyan Church. Burial will follow in Sandridge Cemetery, Bourbon. Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church and for one hour before services at the church Friday.
