Community leaders, recovery professionals and local advocates will gather for a conversation on addiction, incarceration and the path to recovery at Breaking Down the Walls of Stigma, according to a news release from the Kosciusko Coalition on Drug Education.
This community event is designed to foster understanding, reduce stigma and connect individuals with vital resources.
The event will take place on Monday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Zimmer Biomet Center Lake Pavilion, 119 E. Canal St., Warsaw. It is free and open to the public.
Hosted in partnership with several community organizations, the evening will feature a screening of the documentary “The Addict’s Wake,” followed by a panel discussion and open community conversation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with local support organizations and learn about resources available for individuals and families impacted by addiction and reentry challenges.
