Bradey Prater, age 26, of Silver Lake, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 12:01 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Bradey was born May 14, 1994, in Columbia City, to Jeffery and Tina Yount Prater. He was an employee for RR Donnelley Production & Manufacturing.
Bradey is survived by son, Bradey Prater Jr., of Warsaw; mother, Tina Yount Prater, of Warsaw; father, Jeffery Prater, of Silver Lake; brother, Brandin (Brittany) Prater, of Kokomo; sister, Brooklynn Jackson, of Warsaw; companion, Samantha Rogers, of Warsaw; maternal grandmother, Shirley Russell, of Silver Lake; maternal grandfather, Archie (Antoinette) Yount, of South Dakota; paternal grandmother, Ora Prater and Tina Lynn Prater, of Silver Lake. In addition, he is survived by three nieces, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John R. Russell; and paternal grandfather, Burley Prater.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 10 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service will follow immediately at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
