MARSHALL COUNTY - A Bourbon woman was arrested after allegedly driving under the influence with a toddler in the vehicle.
According to a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department news release, at approximately 12:23 a.m. Wednesday, Marshall County Central Dispatch received a 911 call for a wrong-way driver on U.S. 30. Dispatch was informed that the vehicle was in the eastbound lanes going west from Ind. 331.
Marshall County deputies responded to the area and found the vehicle near Hawthorn Road on U.S. 30. Deputies were able to get the vehicle safely stopped.
The vehicle was occupied by the driver, Alysson Nicole Nutting, 28, Bourbon, and a toddler.
Nutting was found to have been under the influence of alcohol, the release states. A certified chemical test was administered and Nutting was found to have a BAC of .203.
She was booked into Marshall County Jail on charges of reckless driving, neglect of a dependant, OWI with a passenger less than 18 years of age and operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .15% or greater. Her preliminary bond was set at $3,005.
