Bill Linton, 48, Warsaw, passed away at 6:08 a.m. Jan. 14, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born July 10, 1965, in Marion, to Jesse and Carolyn Snider Linton. He attended Warsaw Community High School, graduating in 1983. He was an electrician by trade, an avid fisherman and hunter and followed his favorite teams, the Cincinnati Reds and the Miami Dolphins. However, his passion was spending time with his beautiful daughters. He was a very loving father, son and brother and will be incredibly missed. Surviving are his two daughters, Sara and Jesse Linton, Warsaw: his ex-wife, Shelly Linton Thomas; his longtime companion, Linda Edgerton, New Paris; mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Clyde Sexton Sr.; three sisters, Kelly (and spouse Mark) Harkins, Krista (and spouse Chad) Fletcher and Jana Sexton (and her companion Randal Kephart); six nephews and nieces: Jeffrey Harkins, Nappanee; Tyler Harkins, North Webster; Zachary Sexton and Matthew, Spencer and Savanah Fletcher, all of Warsaw; a great-niece, Aubrey Harkins, Nappanee; his grandmother, Waneta Linton, Van Buren; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Linton, and his grandparents. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Jeff Pfeifer officiating.
