One person was taken to the hospital after a SUV hit a bicyclist Sunday.
According to the Warsaw Police Department accident report, at 10:56 a.m. Sunday, Sara E. Driver, 42, East 7th Street, North Manchester, was driving a 2013 Hyundai Elantra south on County Farm Road, 1,070 feet south of CR 200S, Warsaw. She said at the intersection of County Farm Road and 200S, a bicyclist, identified as Stephen R. Troyer, 33, Plymouth, came across her lane of travel.
Driver said she didn’t expect Troyer to turn and she collided with Troyer.
A witness said they were on Warsaw Community Church property when they saw Driver’s vehicle driving south and Troyer was traveling north. Troyer did not stop to allow Driver’s vehicle to pass before trying to turn west into the WCC’s parking lot.
Troyer was treated for an apparent head injury and taken to the hospital.
