Beverly Anne Brown, of Lansing, Mich., and formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at the age of 87 at Bickford of Okemos Assisted Living and Memory Care in Okemos, Mich.

She was born on Sept. 27, 1933, in Syracuse, to Laura Hamilton Sink and Millard Sink. In 1956, she was married in McCordsville to Willis Gene Brown, who was affectionately known by all as Gene. They shared 58 years of marriage together before he passed away on Nov. 7, 2014.

Beverly graduated from high school in Syracuse in 1951 and attended nursing school in Indianapolis. Throughout her life, she moved quite a bit after she was married to Gene.  She resided in West Lafayette and Valparaiso; Grosse Pointe, Mich.; Park Forest, Ill.; and she was a resident of Saint Petersburg, Fla.  Beverly was great with her hands and had an eye for detail. She was a very talented lady, an amazing quilter, knitter and sewer. More than anything, she dearly loved her family, she was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Scott (wife Angela) Brown, Okemos, Mich; two brothers: Paul Sink, San Francisco, Calif.; and Jerry Sink, Ohio; and she always enjoyed her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Lisa, who passed away on April 8, 2008.

Beverly’s life will be celebrated with a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
