LINTON - Betty F. Mooney, 79, of Worthington, died May 13, 2007, at Glenburn Home.
She was born May 29, 1927, in Greene County, to Orman and Bonnie Bruce Bough. On July 13, 1946, she married James J. Mooney, who died Feb. 2, 1989.
She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 479, Lyons.
Surviving are a son, Joe R. Mooney, Etna Green; a grandson, Christopher Mooney, Warsaw; a great-grandchild; two brothers, Cletus Bough, Lyons, and Ona Bough, Dundee, Fla.; and two sisters, Mary Henderson and Katherine Hensley, both of Worthington. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Dugger Cemetery with Pastor Randy Raney officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
No services or public calling are planned.
