Editor, Times-Union: On the subject of cosmetologists vs. barbers, the subject of razor use was left out of the sound bite I heard. But now that I have been brought up to speed, I can see why male barbers might be concerned about female cosmetologists armed with straight razors. On the issue of cameras on cops, I see our overlords decided that it would be far too risky for the common man to freely have access to candid camera footage. Now you will have to hire a lawyer and go to court and prove to a judge you’re fit to obtain the evidence. These cases would include beatings, rapes and other possible civil rights actions. Great job of emasculation, boys. Forget the lawyer – arm yourself with a dash-mounted video camera and never leave the house without a small digital audio recorder. Don’t say you can’t afford it because they are cheap. Those two items for less than $100 have saved my butt on a few occasions.
