SYRACUSE - Barbara Mench, 67, Syracuse, died March 21, 2011, in her residence.
She was born Sept. 8, 1943, in Warsaw, to John and Virginia Gasaway Baugher.
A lifetime area resident, she retired from Dana in 2003 after 34 years, and worked at Lance's Market for the last seven years.
Surviving are a daughter, Angie Graff-Hilson, Syracuse; a son, Michael Mench, Milford; a grandson, Jordan Graff, Syracuse; a stepdaughter, Teresa (and spouse Darrin) Farmer, Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Kenneth (and spouse Sharon) Baugher, Warsaw; and two sisters, Vivian Cloutier, Fort Myers, Fla., and Phyllis (and spouse David) Sills, Richmond.
A memorial service will be at 8 p.m. today at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Chaplain Jane Miller officiating.
