NORTH MANCHESTER – Barbara Kay Schannep, 82, North Manchester, died Dec. 3, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 29, 1943, in Wabash, to Paul and Maudie Grindle Stoops. On Sept. 14, 1963, Barbara married Wikky Gene Schannep; he died Sept. 22, 2008.
Family and friends may call Friday, Dec. 12 from 1 to 2 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be held at South Whitley Cemetery.
