Barbara Jean Hazelton Lindzy, 63, of Warsaw, died at 4:53 p.m. Dec. 7, 2007, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Oct. 20, 1944, in Kendallville, to Richard Hugh and Florence Agnes Nott Hazelton. On July 29, 1962, in South Milford, she married Milo E. Lindzy, who survives.
Living in Warsaw since 1962, she worked in child care and worked at Lamplight Restaurant for three years and GTI, Leesburg, for 22 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Warsaw; Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary; and American Legion Post 258.
Also surviving are a son, Ronald (and spouse Robin) Lindzy, Claypool; four daughters: Joyce Elaine (and spouse Elois) Brown, Ocala, Fla.; Deb (and spouse Will) Davidson, Silver Lake; Lorie Ann (and spouse John) Oliver, Pierceton; and Rebecca Beth Vanthoff, Warsaw; a brother, Cecil Hazelton, Kendallville; a sister, Nanette Tucker, Wolcottville; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Tom Everett officiating. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at South Milford Cemetery.
