MARION – Barbara Jean Francis, 77, Warsaw, died at 1 a.m. June 1, 2012.
She was born in Paintsville, Ky., to John and Dora Ratliff May. On Jan. 30, 1954, she married Lacy Francis, who survives in Warsaw.
She previously worked at Miller’s Merry Manor in housekeeping for six years.
Also surviving are a daughter, Jody Francis, Warsaw; three sons, Lacy (and spouse Millie) Francis Jr. and William (and spouse Linda) Francis, all of Warsaw, and Randy Francis, Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Janet (and spouse Eugene) Davis, Warsaw; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, German May; two brothers, Con and Robert Jay May; and a sister, Shirley May.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Warsaw Family Worship Center, 1023 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, with Pastor William Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
