Barbara Ann Patterson Brilliandt, 79, of 4578 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw, died at 5:10 p.m. Feb. 25, 2010, in her residence.
She was born June 27, 1930, in Kosciusko County, to Loren and Eva Secor Downing. On June 5, 1948, she married Max Patterson, who died Feb. 17, 1984. On Feb. 14, 1987, she married Robert Brilliandt, who survives.
She worked at Strand Theater, Lake Theater and Warsaw Drive-In, and ran the Boise Theater Webster Mermaid Theater and Lincolndale Drive-In. She also co-owned Creative Concrete and Plastercraft. She was a member of Celebration United Methodist Church, Winona Lake, a lifetime member of the Animal Welfare League and a member of Dancing Grannies, TOPS and Moose Lodge. She was an avid animal lover and loved dancing and Bingo.
Also surviving are three sons: David (and spouse Valerie) Patterson, Prescott, Ariz.; Jerry (and spouse Kathy) Patterson, Warsaw; and Larry (and spouse Linda) Patterson, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter, Susan (and spouse Clyde) Martin, Lititz, Pa.; a stepson, David (and spouse Amy) Brilliandt, Middlebury; a brother, Robert Downing, Warsaw; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Celebration United Methodist Church, Winona Lake, with Pastor Cindy Gackenheimer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
