SYRACUSE - Barbara Ann Clouse, 79, of North Webster, died at 6:46 p.m. Dec. 13, 2009, in Rosewalk Village, Lafayette.
She was born June 17, 1930, to Glen and Mary Sandy Longenecker. She married Hugh Neer, who preceded her in death.
A lifetime area resident, she was a registered nurse for the Kosciusko County Health Dept. for 27 years and for the Kosciusko County Jail for eight years. She was affiliated with North Webster United Methodist Church and North Webster American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Brian (and spouse Barbara) Neer, West Lafayette; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Esenwein, North Webster; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a longtime companion, Charles Brower. She was preceded in death by two sons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.
